Natural Diamonds
All natural diamonds we deal with are graded by the Gemological Institute of America (GIA). The GIA holds the highest standards of reliability and consistency when it comes to grading diamonds. Each stone will come with its own certificate identifying it with a description of size, color, clarity, cut, flourescence and a diagram showing where any inclusions are located on the stone. We will work with you to find the perfect diamond. Based on your requests we can gather options and present you with the GIA certificates for multiple stones for you to make your final selection. Lab Grown Diamonds
Lab grown diamonds are becoming increasingly popular in the last few years. Laboratory diamonds have the same chemical, physical and optical properties as a natural diamond. They are the same hardness and refract light in the same way, making it almost impossible for jewelers to tell the difference between the two. The only difference is how the two began, natural diamonds have taken millions - billions of years to form in the earths mantel by extreme heat and pressure. With lab diamonds, they mimic these conditions in a laboratory using either CVD (Chemical Vapor Deposition) or HPHT ( High Pressure High Temperature) this process can take anywhere from 6-10 weeks. This is also a very sustainable option.
Lab diamonds have the same range in color and clarity as natural diamonds. These diamonds are also graded by either the GIA or IGI (International Gemological Institute). Due to the nature of the formation of these stones it makes these diamonds very affordable and only a fraction of the cost of a natural diamond. You can get a big look for less.
